Blog 6 - Advisory Prep

1. What has worked well for you concerning senior project this year?  What has made it a positive experience for you? 
• So far, our schedule has worked well for me especially when it comes to the senior project. It allows me to schedule a convenient time for my mentor in a way that does not interfere with personal commitments. Also, it not only works well for matters concerning the senior project, but it includes core subjects as well and provides me with a good amount of time to balance all of my responsibilities. 
2. What are you finding difficult concerning senior project?  How can you adapt to make that portion work better for you?  How might the senior team help?  
• Personally, the only part of the senior project that I'm finding difficult is to figure out a focus for my topic. Originally, I had trouble finding a mentor. However, now that I have found one, a lot of my problems have been solved. I might be able to ask the senior team for help on narrowing down my topic (Web Design). Other than that, things are going pretty good. My mentor has also said that he would help me to find a focus once he has finished with the introductory research and lessons he has me currently working on. If I had to think of another issue I am having concerning the project, it would be about the independent component. At this point, I do not think I quite understand what it entails exactly or how to approach it.
