- What are you most proud of in your lesson, and why?
- I am probably most proud of making time. When the nerves kick in, I usually end up condensing or over simplifying the things I have to say compared to what I plan in my head. This usually ends in me barely making the minimum time limits in previous presentations.
- What assessment would you give yourself on your lesson? Explain why you earned that grade using evidence from the component contract.
- I'd like to think that I would at least get a P going by the chart, but I'm mostly worried about what constitutes as a prop as mentioned on the "P Qualifications" section. I did have a board with an outline of my speech with some illustrations. I also realized after finishing that I had forgotten to mention the process of making a website for which I had more pictures and examples from my mentorship in addition to the answers that my mentorship helped me realize as I had mentioned. At the least, an AP seems acceptable as well if problems that I personally criticize myself over are mentioned.
- If you could go back, what would you change about your lesson? How can you use that knowledge to give a better Lesson 2?
- I would keep my lesson plan for reference or at least close enough to glance at since I did manage to skip over one element that I wanted to talk about. Also, I admittedly procrastinated having prepared only the day before so I would probably prepare more examples and props either to be passed around or made big enough to be seen at the front of the class.
